Mountaineer Gives Day is Western Colorado University’s annual day of giving; a 24-hour celebration of the Mountaineer community and the power of collective generosity.
On March 3, 2026, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students came together to support the programs and opportunities that make Western special. Thanks to this incredible community, $198,200 was raised in a single day to support students across campus.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Mountaineer Gives Day such a success. See you next year!
What Is Mountaineer Gives Day?
Mountaineer Gives Day is a one-day fundraising event that amplifies the collective impact of giving. Throughout the day, supporters are invited to make a gift to the area of Western that matters most to them, including scholarships and academic programs, athletics, campus initiatives, and student support funds.
Every gift, no matter the size, contributes to a larger story of impact and momentum for Western Colorado University.
